End The Penny

The United States Penny is the least effective piece of currency that is currently circulated. It's value is so far away from anything purchasable that few use it for actual commerce and yet we produce billions of pennies each year. It's not particularly pressing or controversial, but its something we can do about relatively quickly to better ourselves as a nation. End the Penny.
